The Doctor Is In - What's the Good News on TNBC Research?

Ricki Fairley, CEO and Co-Founder of TOUCH, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance and Breast Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Monique Gary will talk to Dr. Melissa Davis. Dr. Davis is a faculty member of the Department of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, where she heads the Davis Lab and serves as Scientific Director of the International Center for the Study of Breast Cancer Subtypes. Dr. Davis will discuss the latest in triple negative breast cancer research.

Sound Bath + Meditation

Join us for a 45-minute meditation and sound bath led by 4-year breast cancer survivor, Melanie McKinney (@melbeyondyoga) and co-hosted by Kelly Thomas (@tnbc_thrivers). Melanie is a certified yoga teacher and certified in crystal alchemy sound healing, and strongly believes that movement and sound (music) are medicine.

Participants can sit in a chair or lie down on their backs while listening to the sound bath. Headphones are highly recommended to increase the quality of sound.

It showcases real families across three generations in real life “kitchen table” settings.
