Social Media Action Items
Mid to late February - Post a photo, video or reel "teasing" your ambassador swag box. Do not reveal the contents yet!
March 3rd - Post a photo, video or reel wearing your swag and holding your glitter #3 on all of your social media channels. Share 3 things you wish you knew when you were diagnosed. Encourage your audience to set up a Facebook or Instagram Fundraiser or Personal Fundraising Page by sharing this LINK. 100% of the funds raised will go to support TNBC research! Make it your own, and most of all have fun with it!
Below is a sample of what you might say in your post or video:
“Hi my name is Melissa Berry and I’m a 10-year, triple negative breast cancer survivor, and proud ambassador for the @tnbcfoundation Power of 3, TNBC Day Campaign. Today is March 3rd, which is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness Day. It kicks off an entire month of education, awareness and fundraising. Check out the link in my bio to learn more about our fundraising campaign —100% of donations from individuals go to TNBC specific research. I’d like to share 3 things I wish I knew when I was diagnosed….”

March 4th-31st - Post 2 more times on social media during the month of March to help keep the momentum going! Remember, Every Day in March is TNBC Day!
Helpful Tips
- Be sure to mention “Power of 3", that March 3rd is TNBC Day, which kicks off an entire month of education, awareness and fundraising, and that 100% of donations from individuals during the month of March go to TNBC specific research.
- If you create a reel and wish to invite @tnbcfoundation as a “collaborator” on your post, please note that the collaborator option won’t work if you use a copyrighted song in your video.
- When choosing a sound clip for your reel, please refrain from using audio with profanity as well as using hashtags with profanity in it. We want to be able to share all your content on our social!
- Invite your audience to like your post and tag 3 friends to help raise awareness of triple negative breast cancer.
- Set up your own fundraiser on Instagram or Facebook so your followers have an easy place they can quickly donate.
