Research Legacy

Ready to make an impact?

TNBC Foundation is giving our community a powerful way to make a lasting impact on triple negative breast cancer research through the TNBC Research Legacy Challenge

Raise or donate $25,000 by October 31, 2026, and TNBC Foundation will match it dollar for dollar, funding a $50,000 dedicated TNBC research grant administered through the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). Three grants are available to be named this campaign season. Your fundraising effort can put your name or the name of someone you love on a grant that advances triple negative breast cancer research.

Every dollar you raise goes directly toward advancing research for the triple negative breast cancer community. Help us fund the science that gives the TNBC community hope!

Steps to Get Started

  1. Contact TNBC Foundation to let us know of your intent to fundraise or donate toward the TNBC Research Legacy Challenge. Please reach out to Amy Spadafora, Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships, at amy@tnbcfoundation.org. You can also visit our Contact Us page and select "Research Legacy Challenge" from the inquiry options.
  2. Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) TNBC Foundation will email you an MOU to sign. This document does not commit you to raise money or make a donation; it is simply an acknowledgment of the TNBC Research Legacy Challenge specifications.
  3. Set up your fundraiser or make a donation. Visit this page for fundraising ideas and examples. Please review TNBC Foundation's Fundraising and Event Guidelines before getting started. Funds may be sent to TNBC Foundation on an ongoing basis or at the completion of your fundraiser. Donors who are not fundraising may send the full $25,000 or installment payments by October 31, 2026. Check and direct deposit donations are preferred for larger donations.
